RIDGEWOOD, N.J., August 22, 2022— Advisors Capital Management (ACM), a nationally recognized investment advisory and portfolio management firm, has just announced that David Ruff, CFA®, Mike Brodie, and Kevin Kelly have been promoted to partner. The appointments further strengthen the firm’s commitment to helping financial advisors better meet the unique needs of today’s investors.
Prior to assuming the role of partner, Mr. Ruff was senior portfolio manager with ACM. He came to the firm in 2018 from Salient where he co-managed the Dividend Signal Strategy® portfolios. His advisory career also included a six-year tenure as chief investment officer with Berkeley Capital Management.
Mr. Brodie assumes his new position with 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with American Funds and Distributors and later, Pacific Life Insurance Company. Over the next nine years, he held AVP- and VP-level positions with LPL Financial and Nationwide Insurance before joining Advisor Capital Management as regional vice president in 2014.
Mr. Kelly brings 15 years of experience in investment strategy across asset classes and sectors to his role as partner. With a career that spans senior-level positions with Verition Fund Management, Goldman Sachs and Oak Hill Advisors, he has amassed a reputation for his innate ability to recognize not only larger industry and economic trends, but also company-specific tailwinds and headwinds.
