David is currently a Partner and Managing Director with Advisors Capital, where he sits on the Management Committee, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, and corporate management. Prior to joining Advisors Capital, David founded and sold 3 companies, including BookRags, Inc. He served as BookRags’ President and CEO for 10 years, building it into one of the largest websites in the world. David’s involvement in the start-up world evolved into an advisory role for a wide variety of technology, educational, and product companies.
David has appeared and been quoted in numerous publications and media, including CNBC, Barron’s and Bloomberg. David earned his BA in Economics from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the Yale School of Management.
